Description: This day started early so that I could get out onto the dunes early enough to get some photos of the dunes with shadows and contrast. I hiked out to the top of the biggest dune and took a few shots then started to wander off to the next few dunes getting more shots. I eventually turned back and hiked up the side of the big dune which was a bit of a mistake, I should have gone up the other side, it might have been easier. I did a little bit of a vignette to this shot to make it more dramatic.
